Children’s Miracle Network is a national non-profit organization that raises funds to pay for children’s healthcare services that insurance may not completely cover. This can cover a wide array of things such as medications, therapy, hearing aids, wheelchairs, travel to stay with hospitalized children, and critical treatments. Since 1983, the Children’s Miracle Network has raised over $5 billion to their 170 hospitals throughout the country. Sigma Alpha Epsilon’s credo is “Be True.” Members demonstrate the True Gentlemen initiative through their support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Since adopting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals as its official philanthropy in 2001, chapters around the country complete a variety of activities such as raffles, auctions, haunted houses, sports tournaments and more. Once a year, SAE at Wichita State University hosts their signature Shockerthon Dance Marathon event, helping it's local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals with funds they raise each year. Over the last few years, Shockerthon was able to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to support Children’s Miracle Network. In lieu of Shockerthon due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a donation drive has been set up to help the kids who are still in need. With your help, we can raise even more money for our local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. We are asking for your support through a donation so we can continue improve the lives children who need our help.
